Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains which data we process when you visit this website and sign up for our free guide, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Visiting this website

When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of access. This is necessary to deliver the website securely (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a stable and secure website).

3. Free guide and email newsletter

When you sign up, we process your email address to send you the free guide "The $0 Business Stack", a short welcome email series and, after that, our newsletter with tips on free tools, AI prompts and building an online business. Some emails contain affiliate links.

We use a double opt-in procedure: after signing up, you receive an email asking you to confirm. Only after you confirm will you receive further emails. We store the time of sign-up and confirmation as proof of your consent.

Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to hello@sproutfounders.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

We store your data until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only your email address and proof of consent for as long as necessary to demonstrate that we obtained consent, and then delete it.

4. Service providers

Website, sign-up forms and email sending are provided by systeme.io (ITACWT Limited, 2 Cruise Park Rise, Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15, Ireland). According to the provider, data is hosted on Amazon Web Services servers in Ireland. We have a data processing agreement with the provider in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Emails may be delivered through sub-processors of systeme.io, which may involve transfers to the USA; such transfers are based on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Email analytics

Our emails may record whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we can understand which content is useful. You can prevent this by disabling images in your email program or by unsubscribing.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to hello@sproutfounders.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

7. Changes

We may update this policy when our services change. The current version is always available on this page.
